My Opinion About Official launch date of BBM on Android and iPhone

After reading the article about “Official launch date of BBM on Android and iPhone” at tekno.kompas.com, I feel happy because it will be able to chat on cross-platform. So I can chat with my friends who use BlackBerry although I’m using other operating systems. In that article, BBM cross-platform applications can be downloaded and used for free by Android and iPhone smartphone users starting on 21th September 2013. But until now, BBM cross-platform not run perfectly. Maybe still be in the development period so it can’t run perfectly.

Okay, now let me give you my opinion about this news. Based on statements that said by BlackBerry Messenger Executive Vice President Andrew Bocking, I think the reason BlackBerry releasing BBM on Android and iPhone because sales of both products are now higher than BlackBerry. Therefore they doing this, so their product can be use by many people and still be number 1. For information before Android and iPhone appears, BlackBerry dominate sales of smartphones.

            In the other side, the release BBM to Android and iPhone in my opinion will killing company of BlackBerry. Because BlackBerry successfully sold in the market caused by BBM that only have by BlackBerry. Presence BBM in Android and iPhone will make people more interested to buy Android or iPhone because it has more excellent features than BlackBerry that only depend on BBM.
